Hey Guys,
So my dad took me out to Applebee's tonight for dinner which was much needed. Last night, I slept wrong and I woke up today having the worst Fibro flair up. It literally feels like an electric charge going through my body. I seriously cannot find inspiration to do anything, so I might have my mom get on here tonight and post an inspirational photo or something, but until then, my face will have to do.

I think I'm developing migraines, because I'm having excruciating headaches every day. I already take 200 milligrams of Ibuprofen a day to help with inflammation, but the headaches are getting worse. Ugh. Just what I need. ANOTHER invisible illness to add. Oh well.
So I have two doctor's appointments Monday. One of them is a gynecologist appointment, and the other is my Rhumetologist in Ocala. Dr. Bookbinder is the best doctor I have ever had, so I'm hoping he can give some other homeopathic treatment for my Fibro and Migraines because if not I'll have to go on Lyrica. I'm thinking a VERY low dose muscle relaxer may also be a good decision. I can't take this level of discomfort anymore and I need help, so I'm hoping that help will come Monday.
Gentle Hugs~ Lucy

I thought a night out with Dad would do you both some good. ☺
ReplyDeleteThe quarterly visits with Dr. B. are always informative, we will see what he has to say about headaches and Fibro, I know this is a related issue for EDS patients. I am thinking and researching too.... Anyone have a therapy out there that is natural?
I am seeing some information on fairly large doses of Vitamin C being a sound treatment for collagen production improvement, which in turn would relieve some of the many symptoms related to EDS in general and also for headaches.... Anybody else who has benefited from Vitamin C therapy and how did it help you?
ReplyDeleteMaybe switch to 800 mg talk to your doctor my mom and I both have fibro my mom when hers inflames she gets bumps all over her head and can't move her body she has been on lyrica for over six years and her dosage has has gone up with in these years and it self I don't take anything but I wish things work out for you
